My academic work is situated at the intersection ofhistory, anthropology, and feminist and gender studies. I began my studies in History and later obtained a degree in Social and Cultural Anthropology, as well as a Master\u2019s degree in Feminist and Gender Studies, all at the University of the Basque Country (EHU).<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
In 2024, I completed my PhD with a dissertation developed in collaboration with AHOA. Archive of Oral History<\/em>, in which I examined the emotional and bodily dimensions of repression and gendered forms of resistance during the Franco regime. This work was awarded the Micaela Portilla Prize (EHU). The research also gained international recognition through a three-month research stay at the Interdisciplinary Institute of Gender Studies at the University of Buenos Aires, funded by EHU, which contributed to the award of the International Doctorate Mention.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Since 2013, I have been a member of the research group Experiencia Moderna<\/em> (Department of Contemporary History, EHU), and since 2018 I have been involved in teaching across several undergraduate programmes (Social Anthropology, Philosophy, Social Work, Labour Relations and Human Resources, Journalism, and Advertising), as well as in the Master\u2019s Degree in Feminist and Gender Studies. In 2025, I obtained accreditation as an Associate Professor from UNIBASQ.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n My research activity also extends beyond academia, where I have been awarded two competitive research grants: the 2nd Research Grant from the Tolosa City Council on women\u2019s contributions to the history of Tolosa (2010-2012), and the 2nd Julia Iruretagoyena Grant from the Irun City Council (2025-2027).<\/p>\n <\/p>\n I am a member of several academic associations, including AHOA, Ankulegi, and AEIHM, as well as transnational research networks such as RIHO and RENISCE.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Main publications<\/strong>:<\/p>\n <\/p>\n -\u201cEliz-sartzea errituaren berrirakurketa.
