GETTING AN IBERIAN ORAL HISTORY NETWORK UP AND RUNNING<\/h2>\n<\/blockquote>\n

RESOLUTIONS OF THE SESSION OF 19 JUNE 2023
1. Agreement that it should not be a heavy structure and that the Network should be
useful for its members.
2. The ideas of creating a mailing list, a web site and some kind of meeting to bring
people and their research experiences closer together are welcomed. In principle, and due to funding problems, these meetings should be online. But we will need to measure the number of meetings, not abuse them.
3. Interest in creating working groups for the different initiatives.
4. Although the prospect of creating a journal is desirable, in principle, joint publications should be considered. Perhaps a dossier in History of the Present, in Words and Silences, but with a certain thematic coherence.
5. Extend the Network to the sectors that are more weakly represented in these meetings.
This is the case of Portuguese historians and, on another level, of the work being
carried out in the field of archives of trade unions’ oral sources.
6. We will soon be in contact with each other to take the first steps in the
coordination of the working groups<\/p>\n
