Afterwards, I obtained a scholarship granted by the Basque Goverment, which have allowed me to start my phD project titled: “La construcción de la masculinidad en la cultura política socialista 1879-1936” [The Construction of Masculinity in Spanish Socialist Political Culture 1879-1936] under the supervision of the professors Nerea Aresti (Basque Country University) and Richard Cleminson (University of Leeds). In my thesis I am interested in how gender is crucial in the construction and developtment of the socialist political culture.

For that reason, I am primarly focus in the processes of gender naturalisation, the discoursive constraints and limits of the construction of a class identity and the relation between class and gender categories.

I have presented the first results of my research in:
